Immigrant Defense Network (IDN) Expectations & Commitments

Effective 09/22/25

The Immigrant Defense Network is committed to upholding all applicable federal, state, and local laws, inclusive of legal requirements concerning interactions with government agencies. We are committed to organizing, educating, and defending immigrant communities across Minnesota and ensure that staff and volunteers are trained to conduct these activities responsibly, respecting public safety and legal boundaries. The purpose of this document is to share broad expectations and commitments for general members and subcommittee facilitators to hold mutual accountability and responsibility for IDN’s shared work. In addition to expectations and commitments, all IDN member organizations and individuals are required to sign legal disclaimer and confidentiality agreements.
